lol. owwwwww. and I also look forward to autumn every year. It's a wonderful thing. worth waiting for. this year won't be pretty here, as dry as it's been, but the weather will be that gorgeous, soul-touching crispness, none-the-less.

things like that help us through. I think. maybe. seems that was what I was trying to impart to the teen. though, mostly, after having been up for 3 days with him, I wanted to sleep.

We were sitting in the sunroom, which is floor to ceiling windows all around, looking to the east, out over the cliff, with the hills rising in the distance. sunrise is really something to see there. sometimes I sleep on the couch just so I can wake up to it.

so after yet another allnighter, me lying on the couch pretty much irritated and disgusted by this time, I looked out at it..

"see that. is that not worth living through the night to see? No one can take that from you and you know it'll always be there. so kill yourself, or go home, your mother is worried about you. I wanna sleeeeeeeeep."

gawd, I'm full of it.

and I think I hate teenagers.

they should be happy they have mothers.
