i think these fears are overblown...when the DM was introduced after the war, the cash economy didn't crash either...we know how to do these things.

But didn't the French just recently weather a strike by all the armored funds transporters? (You couldn't get any cash from ATM machines anywhere, etc...)

Sounds like a non-problem, and anyhow why are they coming out of the woodwork at this late date with this issue? I can't figure Europe out sometimes!
