That would be a good rebuttal except for the fact Hard OCP which also looked at this is supposedly an Intel friendly site.. and that Anandtech , another respected hardware reviewer was also involved in this testing and had similar difficulties with Linux on his CPU as well (if I recall the articles) Not to mention of course the Intel engineer being there and at least appearing to be worried by all this.

We should really do that. As soon as I find some time I'll send e-mails to both ZDNet and CNet. It's obvious now that the 1.13 GHz P3 has major problems and was pulled by two OEMs (IBM and Dell -- the only OEMs offering it at all). The public should know about that.
