SHORTING INTC:

I agree with your comment, Chic.

It is one thing to bet on AMD.
It is another to bet against INTC.

INTC has a lot going for it, and all kinds of ability to
manipulate earnings, get the press/analysts to buy its spin on things, and so on. In general, the vast multitude BELIEVES in INTC and that is not so easily shaken by given events.

In contrast, I would say that the vast horde DOES NOT BELIEVE in AMD, but hopefully will change their view over time, based on results. To a significant degree that process has already started--after all the 52 week low
was $7 3/16.....!(split adjusted)

INTC shows a PE of 54. AMD is 33.

I think that illustrates what you are going against when
you short such a stock.

Anyway, good luck to those who short INTC, anyway.

Best wishes,
Jim
