Hi Smoothsail,

I read an article last year that basically said when you follow (trade) analysts rec's you generally outperform the market. This is not to say the analysts are correct, just that they DO influence markets. Correctly or not. A glaringly bad exception (except for a short term trade) was the semi-cond. call of Jonathan Joseph at SSB. Provided excellent buying opportunity though.

Are you still chillin' out on Catalina?

McClellan used to be pretty reliable but hasn't been able to get his arms around the new economy stocks in his sector. IMO, Tom Watt's stocks picks look pretty close to or even worse than Blodget's.
