not that I should give away trade secrets, but... ceteris paribus, SI beats other boards because you can view 10 messages at a time, thus facilitating quick skimming. (Apparently one could do even more with BrowseMaster, but those days are behind us, unfortunately.) Still, while it's maddening to read boards one message at a time, the Fool has a nice feature that allows viewers to "recommend" posts to others by "voting" for them. Combined with a feature that allows you to view, in order, the top-ranked posts in your bookmarked threads over any given period of time, this allows you to scrape the good grub (or at least that which other Fools have found good) fairly quickly. I make up my grub hauls by using an additional "tekboy screen" (TM) to cull down further from the general "most recommended" list. tekboy@nowyouknow.com
