Re: Are you still using the IBM 20' monitor with the .31 dot pitch trinitron tube? I see them for $280 and was contemplating one. Is that tube flat only in the vertical plane?

Yup, but I paid $400 after shipping. The thing is great, the best piece of computer equipment I've ever purchased. If there's one piece of equipment that makes a difference, it's a big monitor. I still haven't bought a new computer, I think I'll get a 'stang with DDR. Now I'm working with a 266 PII notebook from Dell (the worst of both worlds -ggg-). Everyone that asks me for advice on a a new computer, I tell them get a 20 inch monitor, then figure out what else you can get for what's left of what you want to spend.

This is where I got it from, but it was $349 instead of $249.
