1.13 P3 coming back in Oct, we promise, nothing to worry about. Everything's cool. We'll sell more MU to make up for it.

IBM, which had been selling systems with the Intel chips, is telling telephone customers that computers with the 1.13-GHz chip are no longer available.

"We're not taking new orders at this time," an IBM representative said. "We do not expect to take orders again until the October time frame."

Eric, Re: Zdnet recall update

Out of all the PC manufacturers in North America, only Dell Computer Corp. and IBM have shipped significant quantities of the chip.

According to information gathered by The Watsonsouth from both IBM and Dell, it was no more than a few hundred, far from significant quantities IMO.
