You want to talk about another ugly truth?

The Clinton Gore team had it in their power to greatly reduce the current energy problem but didn't do so because they didn't want the price of silver to soar!

The reason I invested in silver (& I suspect Warren Buffett also) is that our government at the Sustainable Energy Project in Golden showed (THREE YEARS AGO) a car which used far less fuel by filling between the layers all the auto glass with a 1 micron layer of SILVER! This technology alone with a thermostaticly controlled A/C compressor improved summer fuel milage by 8-15% but was NEVER released for use in new cars BY THIS ADMINISTRATION!

The article was in the Rocky Mountain News & I posted to the silver thread of SI. At the time Gore said we would see this techmology in all 2000 year model cars! They simply would have rather have a higher price of oil than a precious metal!

Yes, This Administration suppressed technology (refused to allow a rollout to the Automotive Industry) which would have reduced or eliminated the current shortage! They did this so as to allow a continued profit in precious metals to the shorts & to allow a greater profit to Al Gore in his petroleum investments!

Clinton quietly installs 3 envoys
By Sean Scully
THE WASHINGTON TIMES

President Clinton has quietly installed three new ambassadors, all heavy contributors to the Democratic Party and the Gore campaign, without the consent of the Republican-controlled Senate. Related Articles

The three are Carl Spielvogel, an advertising executive from New York, as ambassador to Slovakia; James A. Daley, an investor in nursing-home companies and Boston hotels, as ambassador to Barbados; and Robin Chandler Duke, widow of a career diplomat and former president of the National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League, as ambassador to Norway.
Collectively, the trio has given $550,900 to Democrats in the past three years, including $24,000 to Vice President Al Gore and $343,000 to the Democratic Party, according to research at the Federal Election Commission
