Frank,

I cannot accept "the emperor has no clothes" or "the market just hasn't caught on yet" because explanations like this assume stupidity in the millions of individual investment decisions made every day.

I guess the investors who buy Intel shares are probably deciding between companies like Cisco and Intel, not Intel and AMD. In Cisco vs. Intel comparison, I think Intel is more attractive.

Joe

if there were a rationalization for the $40 gap, it would have surfaced by now...Not only has a rationale not surfaced, but today's revelations of 1.1 gig Athys delivered in size volume vs. 1.13 gig PWeeiii withdrawal suggest that any $40 gap should be in favour of AMD not Intel...Can't help but think once through $36, AMD makes a quick ascent to the $45 to $48.50 range again in the fairly near term!!!
