Scot,

A Dell spokesman told CNNfn.com Monday that it had stopped taking orders for systems with the 1.13 GHz chips because Intel had not been able to supply them in sufficient numbers to meet demand.

Dell can officially be known as a company that lies to the public. I guess they didn't think the real reason was going to come out. Long live Tom's Hardware and Hard|OCP.

Pravin.

RE:"Some software applications cause circuit on 1.13 GHz Pentiums to fail"

Man, what happens if some software applications cause Willy to fail?
Cringe...

RE:"Intel is expected to begin shipping the next generation of its Pentium processors, the Pentium 4, which will be available at speeds of 1.4 GHz and higher"

Now, you see how that press release worked? They had to start hyping Willy as the savior...
