Micron Technology, Inc., Files Lawsuit Against Rambus Inc.

BOISE, Idaho, Aug 28, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Micron Technology, Inc., (NYSE:MU)
today filed suit against Rambus Inc. of Mountain View, California, in U.S.
District Court in Delaware.

The suit asserts violations of the Federal antitrust laws, and also asserts
invalidity, non-infringement, and non-enforceability of Rambus patents pursuant
to a number of different bases.

Micron Technology, Inc., and its subsidiaries manufacture and market DRAMs, very
fast SRAMs, Flash, other semiconductor components, memory modules, and personal
computer systems. Micron's common stock is traded on the New York Stock Exchange
