Sharck, Yes I check the float, I check the volume, I check the story, and I throw the graph in QCharts. How far has it moved up, if at all.... I start looking at the ticks, and the spread. I go to LII and see who is backing it either on the bid or offer and what is behind it... I can usually do all of the above in about 25 seconds. OK I am ready to move and have a positive NAZ on my side. Ya got my attention <g> Don't let anyone kid you, Kimberly helped a lot of people make some serious money, before her thread became too popular and attracted too many... Fred

Nice thread, Sharck. I agree with you on the stops. I got burnt many times by MMs taking out my stops and runing the stock up after. Especially on IPOs towards the eod run. I don't put stops (especially tight stops) any more and just take profits if I am not confident.
