Zeev,
There already was uncertainty about RMBS. See electronicnews.com, which details how Intel is backing off from Rambus. The article appeared almost two weeks ago. MU filing suit is just another nail in the coffin, I think, perhaps MU's way of trying to bring the whole matter to a public conclusion.

In any case, I don't see how this suit by itself will cause more than a small ripple in Naz. Maybe it will be the excuse for people to take profits, that is possible. We've had a nice run here, we're probably overbought. I don't see anything serious yet. Not on account of Rambus. If anything, their demise might even help most other companies, one less royalty to pay.

Hi Zeev,

I've been thinking the opposite, that RMBS lags SOX by
a few days. At this site, you can move the chart easily through history, perhaps getting an unusual perspective?

stockcharts.com

In spite of that, fundamentally, INTC seems committed to shed RMBS, and the rush at the exits should be intense!

I have been paying careful attention, for the final throes, and I think here we may have it.

Thanks for all your tutelage and patience.
SAF

Zeev, I bought QLGC this morning on the dip at 97 1/4. I thought that was pretty good until I read your post. I'll be waiting to read your "refined" model this afternoon.

Regards,
Bernie

Hi Zeev - thanks for the heads up. Like Bernie, I was out of the loop for awhile until I traced back. Yikes! And I bought more this AM too! I probably should liquidate something, even though my margin raids tend to be conservative, as I simply don't like to owe people anything and that includes margin loan. Still, your advice is greatly appreciated, especially when the market can gyrate in such a magnitude

Thx again, Bosco

Zeev, I sold SNDK at 1 3/4 loss. I'm just getting my itchy sell finger warmed up. <g>
