Chenoweth, Hyde et al had romantic affairs. So what? Clinton had phone sex that was likely recorded by a foreign spook agency. He said so himself in one of his phone chats with Monica. Wonder what was sold out to keep that quiet.

You defend him by ignoring his offenses and pretend to show fairness by criticizing a sexual straw man.

I have never defended Clinton's conduct in office.

I think you confuse job approval ratings with personal approval ratings. As between the two, I believe Reagan is clearly superior. But more importantly, the fact that someone can do a job well, if that is your opinion and it is one I do not share, does not mean he shoud be entrusted with that responsiblity if the power that comes with the office is bound to be misused. It used to be said that "Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel" but unfortunately during the Clinton years we have changed that to "The law is the last refuge of a scoundrel." The fact that Clinton has not been criminally convicted of what we all know he has done, to wit, perjury, obstruction, misuse of office, breach of oath of office and oath as lawyer (based upon his own admissions, DNA evidence, etc) is a mere fig. You know what he did and so so I. You know he is unfit for the office as a person, and so it matters not to me what he may be capable of as a "technician". You can't wink at what has gone on here merely because your wallet is full. No man is above the law. People, including some in my family, have fought and died for that principle. We are ruled by laws, not men. We must all abide by the law or be willing to face its consequences. Our justice system is far from perfect but we must expect more from the highest elected official in the land. Clinton has CLEARLY come up short. JLA
