mishedlo... How about this.... Infineon was getting ready to sign an agreement. Which would have propelled Rambus' stock. Micron files a lawsuit knowing Rambus is likely to take a hit. Micron starts buying Rambus. Micron drops the suit and settles with Rambus. Infineon settles. Rambus stock goes to the moon. Talk about a 10 bagger!!

Just kidding of course... but you never know!

Mishedlo,

And Micron, is betting the farm for a lousy 2% fee that really would cost them nothing as they will all end up paying the same thing.

Rambus is not violating antitrust, but they will put any company out of business who does not immediately sign an exclusive contract for their product.

Interesting viewpoint.
