Sorry, wrong again Tiger. I checked on the authors, the one I could find has been writing quite extensively from both sides of the debate at this site. And the actual study has yet to be released.

You really need to look beyond the biases of the writers, and gather a bit more information on your own Tiger.

On the other hand, the biased study you presented, from authors who have a vested interest in the outcome, was clearly evident.

Tiger Paw, there was recently had a national spelling bee. My numbers are approximate but I believe about 30% of the final participants of a little over 200 were home schooled. Amazingly the students who finished numbers 1, 2 and 3 were all home schooled. The number one finisher had also just recently won a contest relating to geography. How can that be? Mothers aren't trained teachers. Does their dedication to purpose compensate for the lack of formal training in teaching?
