Cisco and sanity... Last November, I saw several equities go up 100% in a couple of days, strictly on the effect of being annointed as a "Cisco-centric" (my phrase) technology/software/whatever. Now it doesn't seem to happen. Shows you how much excess liquidity Greenspan pumped into the market to hedge the economy against the non-event, 1/1/2000, and the "irrational exurberance" it created (ironically). This "irrationality" is ammunition enough that I speculate that the "class-action" plaintiffs will fold early, unrewarded.
