Okay, well here's the thing Chip, we've been reading Intel/AMD chip affectionados post non-sequitors to this thread for years now. I'm sure your WATSONYOUTH fellow has all the skinny on things from that universe. Clearly, that knowledge doesn't translate to anything useful on the SUNW thread (and I say this after more than three years of reading the thread in 'learn' mode). --- That WATSONYOUTH is wrong, is not Sun's fault for neglecting to call him up on the phone (really). -JCJ

I would not characterize what was done as "sweeping it under a rug." The NDA's may have been ill-advised, but you'd have to see just what was covered and why to make that call. The NDA's haven't "spoken for themselves" because as far as I know none of us has read one. Regardless, the article says they're not being used any more.
