>Question for ya. Going to NY to see a few shows; is the SOHO Grand all that??

is Copperfield in town?

just joshing you, Wiz.

fwiw, i stayed there for the first time in april (back when i had steady income). personally, i thought it was a wee much -- although i imagine the suites are a better "deal" -- but you cannot beat the location if you want to be in striking distance of a good haunt like Lucky Strike and those ex-models that NN's known to dis.

perhaps a dumb question: but by "shows," should i presume you mean (off) Broadway? granted, i've never lived on the island, but whenever i say "shows," i mean going to an (indie) rock thing. in your town, i guess that would equate to Bottom of the Hill or El Rio.

if we are on the same wavelength, then i say spring for the soho grand. stumbling distance from both your rock jones (Knitting Factory) and your sushi fix (NDN [Next Door Nobu]).
