You were ups late again.. did you get no relief from the dentist? When will he FIX it? I LOVE that 'all is well' feeling painkillers can give, though I'm so seldom ill I never get to use them. I can understand drug addiction if there is not much else in your life. We leave for Paris Thurs. I have terrible insomnia- wake up with lists running through my head. I'm not a good traveler. I forget important things like underwear and pack too many books. I have a terror of finding myself somewhere without a book. Is that neurotic? Then I worry that I'm packing the wrong books, so I keep adding-- need something for every mood. Then I worry that I'll need a dictionary or a thesaurus if the Muse visits. So I wind up with a suitcase of books, and a little bag of clothes.
