Further testament of the Athlon's scalability versus P3. Interesting that it's quite possible the limiting factor in overclocking to 1232 could actually be the overclocked bus (to 112/224) not the CPU itself (since they were unable to unlock the clock multiplier), as historically 110 or so is about the max the FSB has ever been able to reach stable.

I particularly like the closing paragraph:

Intel meanwhile seems to have serious trouble on their hands in terms of ramping up faster
versions of their .18mu Coppermine P3 processor. Until the revised .13mu P3 arrives on the
market later this year and brings higher MHz speeds with it, Intel may continue losing
market share at the high end of the processor market segment to AMD at a faster rate than
anyone predicted.
