I knew what you were asking before, but I just wanted to have a little fun with this ... er ... slip-up.

Fun at my expense....thanks.

As for what Intel is doing to prevent misfires like this in the future, I don't know. I can't imagine Andy Grove, Craig Barrett, and Albert Yu letting this go by like it was nothing.

I would have thought that there would have been some major reorganization due to the past problems and some people in high mgmt positions let go. However, Intel isn't losing money and that makes a big difference.....money being the great motivator. Nor is its stock in trouble....so its difficult to complain too harshly.

I saw no mention in either the New York Times or the Chicago Tribune, this morning. It may just blow over with no effect.
