EXFO Electro-Optical Engineering, Inc. (EXFO) is a Canadian company based out of Montreal, Quebec. They design, build and market fiber-optic test, measurement and monitoring instruments. Their closest competitor is NEWP. A recent IPO they saw their stock explode before pulling back. I called their bottom at 46 and bought them on the premise that they would be acquired or merge with a larger player. After doing some research, I realized they do not do much more than JDSU does in house. It is still my assumption that they may be bought out but you will have to be patient, and I doubt it will be JDSU... Hope this helps. Sharck
