SemiconEng-- Steve posted the always entertaining "P3 keychain" post. It's up there with the "Are you posting from Intel facilities" and "Dell wait times exceed 30 days" posts in terms of highlighting genuine issues in a light-hearted way. You then blew him off and cheapened his argument by using the very popular tactic on this thread of implicitly anding a bunch of stuff about Intel going out of business to his post. In doing so, you played the standard trick of making it sound like AMD longs are arguing that Intel is going out of business (thereby making AMD longs look like naive morons), instead of the real issue-- Intel's extremely weak core business operating performance over the last year and what it means for a stock with a p/e north of 40.

Watsonyouth facetiously responded with, roughly, "Intel business as usual is good for AMD." Given RAMBO, the Intel 820 delay, the i820MTH recall, the 1.13GHz recall, this statement, over the short time-frame of the last year, is perfectly accurate. You then responded to Watsonyouth's valid post, with "YAWN. Did you say something?"

In other words, you were rude to Watsonyouth first, and opened up an assault on all AMD longs. I responded accordingly.

You may have the final word.
