Does anyone know who else sells high density removable flash memory in the retail channel?

All I see are Sandisk cards, Kingston, Simple, and Lexar. I'm assuming these other companies pay royalties to Sandisk?

Nintendo settles Songboy lawsuit

"LOS ANGELES (Billboard) - Nintendo has settled its lawsuit against Songboy.com for infringement of its intellectual property rights. Songboy had developed and was selling a module that connected to Nintendo's Game Boy game system, turning it into a fully functional MP3 music player. As part of the agreement, Songboy.com changed its corporate name to Song-Pro.com. Nintendo, for its part, granted Song-Pro a patent license. The suit attracted additional media attention after the Rev. Jesse Jackson and his Rainbow/PUSH Coalition Silicon Valley Project became involved on behalf of Songboy, a small, minority-owned company. Neither side would disclose any further details except to confirm that all outstanding claims were resolved. "
