It usually needs to have a flat top, though, which is why I'm finding this pattern odd, as the entire formation is descending. It was just negated to the upside, so I guess you're right. ;-)

FWIW, just looked up right-angled broadening formations in Edwards & Magee: they're generally bearish, regardless of which side is flat, except of course in the case of a flat-topped one that breaks to the upside. Now that's clarity! ;-) Looks like we have 2 touches on 4090 today.
