Good day for the long beaten down Interactive TV sector. . . LBRT, TiVo, OPTV, LMG.a, LDIG etc. This will one day be a high-flying sector and so is worth considering the start of long-term positions. With Interactive TV, the possibilities are endless. Interactive game shows, personalized targeted advertising, streamed data to coincide with program material for background info, stats, explanation, links to more resources, etc. . . . . . .

Then after fibre optics run into each of our homes [which probably won't be for quite a number of years yet] . . . . we'll have customized program menus, so we can watch what we want based on our availability. . . even interactive plots, for those who prefer a bit less violence, more romance or a "G" rating, rather than an "R".

Interactive TV is much like wireless, in that it will take lots of patience before the product can catch up to the demand and before the available services or programming can catch up to the hardware capabilities.

This is truly an exciting age.
