Yes I agree to that extent (Intel deal), but what was Micron offering to do in return?

Actually, I don't think they want to do anything. I still think it's about egos and that Appleton thinks he can win. Settlement will only be discussed seriously if the Micron lawyers tell him that there is a strong possibility that they're going to lose. At which time it will be too late to get a sweetheart deal.

All IMO, of course.
