I know your questions are rhetorical.
Well, maybe not that flashback, cruel trick, mind-gods thing. <g>

I happened to browse the AMAT thread around the time they reported earnings. A think at least one poster, or more, thought that it was the most bullish conference call the company had ever had. And as you point out, during a time when some on the "Street" were declaring the semiconductor cycle over. Does make you wonder about all the fun and games.

So, John, if this could be true for semi and semi equip companies might it be so that there COULD be future market for LDP-involved IPO's....?

I don't think the IPO window will ever open again, no portfolio companies will ever again be acquired, and sentiment will never again be favorable....didn't you know that.

BTW, what do you think the chances of NUFO in due time being gobbled up by a Gorilla?
