Did you see joe's reference to my "altruistic hell" and Sidney's "gag" post? I have reason to be conscious of the situation. Besides, to me this is not just a passtime, but often a way of sharpening formulations and getting feedback, so we happen to approach it differently. Besides, I didn't think I was speaking personally, and therefore I would never imagine anyone taking it personally. I was trying to give a balanced account. In other words, I was being thorough. I am sorry that you thought I was aiming anything at you. It was, as they say, the furthest thing from my mind.
