If it's in short supply, which it obviously is going to be, [that's why the auction prices were high], subscribers will pay the full whack anyway, even if governments give it away. I don't get it that people don't get it that if governments give spectrum away, it won't make the minutes or megabytes one cent cheaper. It seems as simple as 1 + 1 + 1 = 3 Okay, that will cut out a lot of people who have trouble with complex mathematics and Fourier Transforms, but the rest should get it. Here's the Piha Wave Function: $1 for the inventor [that's Q!] $1 for the government $1 for the service provider That's 3 bucks full! Which is what the subscriber has to pay to get a byte at the spectrum. Full spectrum is as full as it can get. Three bucks full!!! Any more expensive and people will use it less. Any cheaper and there won't be enough to go around and somebody will miss out. Okay, once again: Baa Baa Black Sheep Have you any wool? Yes sir, yes sirTHREE BUCKS FULL!!! One for the Master [Ed: That's Q!] One for the Dame [Ed: That's the government, totalitarian or not] And One for the little boy who lived down the lane [Ed: That's Verizon, France Telecom or whoever]. Okay, so here's the test: How much will a subscriber have to pay to get a mouthful of bytes [NO...NOT lamb or sheep]?
