Yep, remember January 1 when they gapped everything to the heavens and slammed it hard for four days forcing all kinds of margin calls? I think we are setting up for something similar.

NASDAQ has appeared a little weak today but the underlying factors have held up well so far. New high over lows (3rd day in a row if it holds), up volume over down volume and advancers barely leading decliners.

On the A/D stats...it doesn't really hurt that much on the naz when decliners are in charge (it does matter on the NYSE), they have been for years but we have an added advantage when the advancers are in the lead.

Should be an interesting close but unless we form a negative candle, it's not a very important day.
