A surge of selling came in temporarily overwhelming the buying. This brought the SPOO to its 20 EMA on the 1-min chart. But the selling did not have staying power. So price is continuing its move up. The selling interest resulted in a period of congestion trading that ended up testing that EMA which tipped the scales toward buying. The 20 EMA 1 is a situation like this can be expected to provide buying interest. No great surprise here.

Now I see TRIN is belatedly validating the move up. ND is now ready to make an important test of resistance on its 7-min chart. TICK is not responding on this next leg up. I think there may be at least on more push down coming up.

How could I have played this move given there was this minor setup to play on the smallest time frame? But then this is how today's market seems to be operating. The trade would of been a bit unnerving considering the whipsaws that the market has been putting in.

Selling is reasserting itself so price is now moving down for a test of the 20 EMA on the 3-min chart. TICK has pushed down through a trend line. ND is repsonding. TRIN has not validated this move yet.

Looks like price has been stuggling with a uphill battle against underlying selling interest. Perhaps this will flush it out. TRIN has not validated this move down. TICK has bounced back to its trend line. May be poised for a push up. Here is where I can evaluate the buying interest after what has happened.

Price bouncing from a Stochs bottoming on the 1-min chart. Looks to be not as strong, but still present. The next move down will allow me to do a comparative study of buying with selling. Price is moving up to test the 20 EMA on the 1-min. This may provide the push down. TRIN continue to move down.

3:39 PM

Second push up by TICK as anticipated.
