playa is wap going to get wapped by g3.....as far as I know wap isn't even available in the usa and people are already talking about the next generation (g3)......this last sentence of the article you provided doesn't sound to promising..... "While WAP phones have so far failed to take off as expected in Europe as some services are seen as too basic, take too long to retrieve from the phone, are too costly or the actual phones are difficult to obtain. But some analysts expect the market to improve in coming months." I have been trying out the basic services infospace currently offers and don't find them that exciting ..........today my phone beeped when gnet hit 55.....well I guess that is useful info but it be much better when I can then trade by doing one click......I think its going to be another year before the aps that really will get people interested are up and running smoothly.....I don't know enough yet...perhaps it takes wap to get the better aps to work.....take a look at the nokia 7010 wap phone it looks cool.....Europe has the lead here so we should be able to link into some european telecoms to see what will soon be here
