Blast from the past...Here is a excerpt from the Twenty Question interview I did with Matt Simmons that was put out on May 9, 1999 in the late and great Offshore Drilling Bits, published by Yours Truly.

Matt says:

If my assessment of depletion is
correct, and if we then need to add
around 80 MMbpd of oil and gas on
