Dave, I know he said that, but that is nothing more than "sabre rattling". Once (mind you I said once, not if), then they can exact a "pound of flesh", but they'll have to license. In RMBS place, once the battle is over, I would craft a license that include a higher royalty rates (50% more than "early adopters" for instance) for a period sufficient to pay three times the legal costs, and estimated losses due to delays in the implementation of the technology, but that is only because I would take a "pound of bleeding flesh", RMBS might me more benevolent (VBG).
