With 40 more processors and a price tag hundreds of thousands of dollars more, it should provide more perfomance.

Why does it say the system will become available February 28, 2001 and it uses the Sparc II?

Power2's on IBM's .18um copper/SOI process should be shipping in the S80 by the end of the year, FWIW.

You mentioned USIII with regard to speed. When is this chip going to be released?
