I thought your dad could use the site. Once I saw you fished the lumps I remembered I had seen that before. Sorry I didn't send the site before. I've looked into fishing out of Venice but your tale brought back what I've heard about the drive down. Not bad to New Orleans but a bitch after that. Some day I may buy a 35 footer and go by water. Oddly the preferred route from here by water comes out at Mobile, Mississippi. Must be people headed to Florida. If you get out to deep water try to catch a cobia. You can watch them take the bait and, lady hang on. Look like sharks and eat, well they call them lemon fish. Great on the grill.
