e-bill: I'm not certain, but I don't believe Clinton spoke at the Nixon funeral service. It really was impressive to see all the presidents and their wives sitting together: Clintons, Bushes, Fords, Reagans and Carters. I don't remember if Lady Bird Johnson was there. By the way, be sure to tune in to your local PBS station at 8 p.m. Wednesday. Newspaper story I just read points out that the documentary on Newt Gingrich will include behind-the-scenes GOP negotiations concerning the Clinton impeachment a couple years ago. Newt allowed the filmmaker access to his wheelings and dealings for six months and the filmmaker got lucky, because the Clinton impeachment proceedings and Newt's ouster happened during this time.
