GZ, It's possible the fundamentals of the markets will change after August. By fundamentals I mean the psychological cords will be sounding different to the traders and produce a markedly different market place for trading. The parabolic rise and fall of NASDAQ and the Internet sector influenced the general psyche and how this plays out going forward will be interesting. I believe that simple trends for position trading will be harder to stay in and maintain a position over their duration..., this is especially true of the stock indexes. However, I believe the overall trend will continue to be range bound to up.., unless some unknown event changes this Gilbert and Sullivan theater into an arrhythmic scale. The DOW monthly chart is interesting...! Looks like the overnight futures stopped you out. Chip
