I think so, if without a license, MU has to withdraw from this market, I would say it would be "unfair trade practices".

Thanks. It bothers me a little that Tate would say what he did if, in fact, it's not a very legally defendable position. I always thought he tended to be conservative.

If Rambus is angry at Micron, it only seems fair that they should be able to use their claimed SDRAM patent to permanently block all Micron DRAM sales.

This is because Rambus has been granted (by the Yahoo thread) a special exemption from the normal rules of business conduct and ethics.
