Elmer,

re:``This is another sign that the 1.13 gigahertz chip is pushing the envelope for an architecture developed for 2 gigahertz speeds''

Is Kumar discussing Rambus architecture? The 1133Mhz was shipped on 820 platforms.

<BTW, can someone explain to me what this statement by Kumar means?

``This is another sign that the 1.13 gigahertz chip is pushing the envelope for an architecture developed for 2 gigahertz speeds''>

I can only make sense out of this quote if I assume he meant that 1.13GHz PIII is carrying water for P4 which was designed for high speeds (2GHz) and which should have been released some time ago.
