On the si homepage they have a link to a discussion which is exactly what you and I were saying about Exodus last week. These epoch people (who are just free research on the net and I'm sure don't know any more than you or I... hmmmm or maybe they just read SI and plagiarize, lol) anyway they published something saying focused services are a threat to exds... thats what I think too, especially since exds is so richly valued. Of course in some ways IBM is just a hoster these days too and look at their valuation... Message 14286469 Also, on general economy I am very concerned about west coast real estate, I can't see any way to soft land around it - its either going up or down, and when the decline hits it might be serious even if the tech workforce is fine. There is just no way to sustain the real estate valuations around here.
