About as seriously as his promise to Putin that N. Korea would suspend its rocket program is Russian would launch its satellites into orbit.

And then later claiming that he was just "joking".

I have to admit though, my initial reaction to that article was "HOLY COW!!!... Can it be TRUE!!!"?

Strategically it makes quite a bit of sense since their is little love lost between the Chinese and N. Korea (since China broke with Russia back in the late '50s). Korea has historically be a province of various Chinese emperors and I'm sure they have little desire to be dominated by them again, either polictically or economically.

VERY INTERESTING THOUGH!!! We'll just have to wait and see...
