Yes I noticed that two Olga. The stock closed .01 off it's 52 week high.I suspect if it can trade throught the 1.75 then we may see some blue sky.It all depends on how the market assimilates the news as well as it's future near term release they promised from the other two projects regarding Livingston("Osprey Energy has received final approval from the Canadian Venture Exchange
for the purchase of a 30-per-cent working interest in the Livingston field in
Louisiana. The purchase price is $300,000 (U.S.) plus 500,000 common shares
of the company. The shares are subject to a one-year hold period and will
become free trading on Feb. 14, 2001.
The two wells in this field are currently producing in excess of 150 barrels of oil
per day. The operator of this property has just completed a gas lift on the
Denkmann well, which is expected to increase production to approximately 300
bopd."
) and the Jenner project in Alberta("Osprey Energy has expanded its drilling program in Alberta. The initial five well
program, increased to ten wells earlier this year, is now expanded to 12 wells.
Eight of these wells are horizontal and expected to produce approximately
175-200 BOPD per well. Seven of the wells are presently in the process of being
tied in. All the wells are scheduled to be completed and tied in by the middle of
August.
The company has a 5-per-cent net interest in these wells."
).I am referring to this from the August 18 news release:
"Both the Livingston field in southern Louisiana and the Jenner property in central
Alberta are in production and producing positive cash flow. The data are being
tabulated and results will be released once the joint venture statements are
received from the operators."

Now assuming the Joint venture statements have to be prepeared the end of each month and allowing time for courier or mail I suspect we should have info on these properties and their cash flows which the company said was positive in the first week of September or before.I can hardly wait for these releases. This is coming together nicely.

...i do remember the last high at the end of march...looks like the end of august will beat it and who knows from there on.

i really appreciate the last line of the latest nr.

The Company is continuing to pursue opportunities in the Oil and Gas
marketplace to enhance shareholder value by increasing cash flow and building
reserves.

ROB TV did a segment on OEL.CDNX yesterday about 1/2 way through marketcall as response from Ian McGavney.Good exposure and I hear that the Company was contacted by another program for a tv interview. This company is getting noticed.

Watch To-day.

Guess it is because this company has earnings of 1.82 per share based on info from news releases based on O/S shares. After a 30% reduction for costs it still has 1.52 per share. This is cheap people.
