Yup, and a few Gore supporters here actually pretended to be "concerned" about the deficit. HA! What a joke!

The Democrats led by Gore (if allowed by the voters) would spend twice whatever surplus is currently projected. They truly are the party of big spenders.

Let's see in the coming months how much the media builds up this prescription drug issue into a *national crisis* that must be dealt with immediately.

This election can be summed up beautifully by the last two days. Al Gore is focusing on the past by buying elderly votes using fear, and George W is focusing on the future, trying to change a broken school system for the children and the next generation.

One person cares about the future and another doesn't give a rats ass about anything but his election.

I wonder why Gore hasn't announced a national program of vans to drive the elderly wherever they need to go. Or better yet, how about a national grocery delivery service to anyone 65 or older. After all, who could be against those except some eeeevil Republicans? Especially since they're all FREE!! Everything done by the government is FREE! We now live in OZ and the witch is dead!

C'mon all you Democrats! Climb in behind Al, Bill, Hillary and Tipper and sing along! Ding-dong-the-witch-is-dead,...................

Michael

Let's see if I can make a list of new programs for the elderly that simply MUST be enacted. I'll bet with a little work each of these can be built into a national emergency.

1. Anyone 65 or older should be given a home by the government.

2. Anyone 65 or older should be given a car and a driver by the government

3. Anyone 65 or older should be given a personal health fitness trainer.

4. Anyone 65 or older should be given a personal mechanic who will go over their car and fix any problems.

5. Anyone 65 or older will have food delivered to their house weekly.

I'll bet the Democrats and liberal big media could spin any of these into a national crisis if given an election and a few months time. After all, if it's FREE why not?
