Have the subsequent emails been addressed to the same address? I ask because I get about a dozen copies of each; one for each account (this one, my old one, and a bunch of test ones) I have here.

If it's the same address, John Busby do you have an answer?

Regards,

SI Admin (Bob)

"Your current registration information indicates that you wish to receive periodic e-mails from us representing other companies that we believe you may find interesting."

what a bunch of crap. like i told them i want their spam. no way. it's their default setting and it's just more of their bogus manner of dealing with membership to say that i "wish to receive periodic emails". total crap.

then when they tell you how to unsubscribe, they punctuate it with this remark, "We will make every effort to respect your request in the future". right, which explains the difficulty that people are having unsubscribing. bad things happen when si promises to "make every effort"!

then, to acknowledge your unsubscribe email, they send you more email to say they got your email, and they punctuate that pearl of information with this gem, "To subscribe, please forward this message to mailto:subscribe_si_optin@optin.go2net.com. "

i don't want their spam and i don't want them making any efforts and i'm really not figuring that maybe i'll resubscribe the freaking moment i unsubscribe.

Re: SI E-mails

Joe B.

Could you PM me w/ your e-mail address, unsubscribe date and the receipt dates and titles of the two e-mails you are referring to?

We should be able to track this down.

John
