Goodnight Carl,

I assume you meant "Sick Bird" of course, but I forgive you. And yes, I saw that "damages" bit. ...Although it seems to me that RMTR has suffered a hell of a lot more damages than MU. ...But maybe Stevie will share! 'Ya think? :8)

And did YOU see Ms. Garber, or was it Bert, saying that it's not about the "money", but rather "control" over the future of memory design that's at stake? (Heh Heh:8)

Like I said before, INTC may have "seen" insurmountable pincount problems back in '95 or '96; but if they did it was only because that's what they wanted to see! <vbg>

I'm going off to bed. I suspect I'll be dreaming about which will come first:

1) The NEC suit;
2) The Samsung suit;
3) The Congressional investigation;
4) The end of Edelstone's patience;
5) The end of Mom & Pop's patience; or
6) The bottom of the RMBS cash account.
7) A 3rd Amendment to the secret INTC/RMBS deal giving RMBS a cash infusion in exchange a softening of their litigation/bargaining stance?

Its a good thing they got that stock option expense written off when they did. <g> Lord this is a mess. INTC owes the industry and consumers a quick solution to this Son Of Frankestein sequel it created.

Mark my feathers! It may appear as though RMBS is footing the bill for this shindig, but before its over INTC will have paid the greatest portion of the price.
