Thanks for the heads up. Browsed through the Ericsson site and found the water resistant phone - R250 Pro.

I think it bodes well for adventurers and recreational users who would want more rugged G* phones. Developing water resistant handhelds is probably not a high priority considering the list of pressing issues G* currently has. I still believe the perfect system for small yacht owners is a ruggedized phone + marine kit combination. The weather proof phone could be used topside in any weather and also provide data link via the marine kit. Of course, the sailor could call down below via the marine kit while the yacht is on autopilot. I'd pay a premium for a ruggedized cell phone and suspect potential G* customers would love to have that choice.
